Laura Accorsi
Laureata in Architettura presso il Politecnico di Milano ha svolto per un decennio la professione di architetto e, dal 1997, è esperta ambientale e nella gestione dei beni culturali. Appassionata di arte, storia locale, cultura materiale e archeologia industriale, nel 1998 ha collaborato con il prof. Edo Bricchetti alla richiesta di Nomination World Heritage List UNESCO per il Medio Corso dell’Adda. È operatrice didattico-culturale lungo il medio corso dell’Adda e, dal 2009, operatrice ecomuseale per l’Ecomuseo Val San Martino. Dal 2001 si occupa di didattica nelle scuole secondarie di II grado e, attualmente, è docente di Arte e Immagine nella scuola secondaria di I grado.
Storie di uomini e acque
Il saggio racconta di come l’elemento “acqua” abbia plasmato nei secoli il territorio della Val San Martino e la vita stessa dei suoi abitanti. A partire dai primi insediamenti produttivi proto-industriali lungo le rive dei “torrenti” Sonna e Gallavesa, e percorrendone il corso alla scoperta delle testimonianze di archeologia industriale conservate, in rovina o scomparse, sorgono alcune domande: cosa possiamo ancora leggere, oggi, dei segni del lavoro e delle fatiche del passato? E come queste nostre radici ci aiutano a capire la genesi dei fenomeni di oggi? Infine, quali possono essere le potenzialità di questo territorio in prospettiva socioeconomica e culturale-turistica? Lungo i sentieri di una storia minore, fatta di lavoro, fatica e sacrificio uniti a inventiva e creatività, possiamo scorgere ciò che siamo: abitanti e interpreti di una magnifica valle.
